Happy Chinese New Year! ^.^
If you noticed; I haven’t posted any new year greeting or new post about the celebration this year. Will get to that perhaps in the next post.
Anyway, here’s something that was sent to me by a friend -
性年快ä¹ã€‚性想色æˆã€‚å¤§é¸¡å¤§ç²’ã€‚æ¹¿æ¹¿ä¹³æº¢ã€‚ç²¾æ¶²æ»¡å ‚ã€‚é¸¡é¦™å…¥æµ´,é»é»æœ‰éºã€‚大弟æ®æ˜¥
Now, those of you who can read chinese will know that it’s a new year greetings but for half-banana’s like me (can speak; cannot read/write) I depend heavily on online translators (Google Translate) to get me through the day.
This is one example of a translation going awry
性年快ä¹ã€‚性想色æˆã€‚å¤§é¸¡å¤§ç²’ã€‚æ¹¿æ¹¿ä¹³æº¢ã€‚ç²¾æ¶²æ»¡å ‚ã€‚é¸¡é¦™å…¥æµ´,é»é»æœ‰éºã€‚大弟æ®æ˜¥
is translated to
Of the Happy. Think of a color. Big big grain. Taxi galactorrhea. Semen packed. Chicken-bathing, Niannian have survived. Dadi Hui-chun
Semen packed??? Chicken-bathing???
If it’s not because of the “dadi hui-chun” at the end… I wouldn’t have guessed it so fast… LOL
