Big quake shook Japan this morning…

… and I actually didn’t felt it.

Well, I think I was probably in the bathroom at that time cause I just woke up; but I only knew when Auyong told me about it. So much for being receptive towards my surroundings.

You can read more about the quake here. Here’s a picture of the actual quake distribution. It’s massive. If you click on the picture; you’ll be able to see more information about the quake and the aftershocks that follows.

Thank God you are ok. But please becareful too. Do you know the drill in case there is an earthquake?

  2. PsyCHZZZ Says:

Thanks a lot for the concern Nightwing… yeah, I definitely will.

As for the drill… well, all foreigners are given this booklet when we first get our Gaijin card (official alien) to explain about earthquake and disaster drills and all… so, yeah; kinda read them already. Nonetheless, haven’t been to the National Earthquake Center where they have the simulation thingy… perhaps I should find time to go one day.

I remember when i was in NZ studying, i was on the phone with my friend, and the whole house was shaking, my host mother was panicking from upstairs…and i was kinda like, wow…the whole house is moving side to side..only few seconds…i did not even went to look for cover, i was still on the phone (very dangerous)…that was my only experience with earth quake…

Yeah… well, on Monday night when I felt it… i think it was very mild, just little swaying from left to right… but nonetheless, one cannot be too careful enough…

Wow… you were still talking on the phone when it happened? Probably your host mother felt it more since the higher it is; the more it affects…
