Snooze your way to higher test scores

Posted on Monday 15 January 2007

I am right! Hahaha… well, at least now it’s proven.

I read an article on The Star newspaper yesterday and it states that taking a nap helps improve memory formation. From the article, volunteers who took a nap before a re-test of a factual test that requires memorizing pairs of words scored 15% better than volunteers who didn’t take a nap.

I used to sleep so much in class… and now I got a good excuse for it. Hahaha… How I wish this article came out when I was back in University. :D

Well, the lesson behind the story is - sleeping in class is GOOD! Hahahaha… no, seriously; DO take rest in between your revision… no point doing a marathon and ended up not remembering anything at all. ;)

Cheers~!

It’s impossible to fall asleep in Mr Mah’s class… so I took the next best step - skip it instead :p

Mr Mah, if you’re reading this, do you still have that McDonalds shirt? :p

Hahahaha…. Mr. Mah… I hope he’s not reading this blog; if not - he’ll be thinking what kind of students he thought last time… lolz.
