It’s 7pm and I’m currently in the Uni’s computer lab. What am I doing here?? Well, I’m just passing time while reading up on some notes and my project stuffs (wow, me studying… rare occasion eh?).

Well, tonight is Mid-Autumns Festival and unfortunately I’ll be alone… Miss having mooncakes and lots of good food and partying with all my cousins at my grandmother’s house back in PJ. I bet my family back home is happily celebrating at my grandparent’s home now.

Anyway, you might be wondering what smells funny right? Well, I’m in the lab now and outside they’re currently fogging the campus because tomorrow night Curtin Sarawak will be having their first ever Sunset Carnival organized by the Student Council. Yup, this year’s carnival will be held from 3pm in the afternoon right up to 10pm. It’s gonna be interesting to see how it’ll go as the campus is usually infested with mosquitoes and bugs come evening and hopefully with their fogging exercise it’ll help minimize it. Nonetheless, one of the reason this year’s carnival is held during the evening was to make way for the Muslims staffs and students who are fasting during the Ramadan month so that they can participate in the event as well after buka puasa.

If you’re living in Miri and have nothing much to do tomorrow evening; do come along and join in this Carnival. There’ll be lots of food sales, entertainment, a Ghost House, fireworks display and a lucky draw with a Sony PSP and an Apple iPod Nano up for grabs!!!

Right… that’s all for now… it’s gonna be a lonesome Friday night but I guess it’s still too early to tell. Who knows? I might have some plans later after all…
